This rooster print looks great in a featured spot, but it’s also fun to put it in a tucked-away place where newcomers happen upon it as an unexpected bit of whimsy. The smaller size prints, in a frame with a stand, look charming on a mantle, in a bookcase, or on a table-top display.
My rooster art print got its inspiration from this painting of Emperor Louis Napoleon III. He was the first elected president of the French Second Republic. He held that office from 1848 until 1852. The constitution did not allow him to be re-elected, and so what did he do? He seized power and became Emperor, and he held onto that power from 1852 to 1870. Such is human nature, however given the chance, I’ll bet a rooster would have done the same.
