A lovely Ram
I created this Ram and her partner, Berkshire Merino Ewe, in response to a call for entries at the Berkshire Museum. It’s a lovely little museum in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, a town just minutes from where I live. The Ewe portrait didn’t get selected, but this fellow did!
He was on display there at a strange time; in the early days of the pandemic. So, on the one hand, no one saw the painting on display in person except for museum staff. On the other hand, there were many virtual events that were available for people from all over the world to attend…. so who knows; maybe more people saw the exhibit than would have otherwise.
The 16×20″ painting comes unframed, but a wide, ornate frame would be a great choice for it.
